Martina Lussi (CH)

Swiss born just released her 2nd LP, Diffusion Is A Force, on French label Latency. Lussi makes an intriguing mix of ambient and songs. Her resonant (for ambient) compact tracks are made up from the processing of electronics, field recordings and live instruments.

The Wire – „ … DIFFUSION IS A FORCE is a meditation on the multitab, its meaningless and dangerously tranquil violence, as gestures and processes collapse into a homogeneously composed world.“  > Full review in The Wire, issue 421

Kinlaw & Franco Franco (GB/IT)

Kinlaw came into the spotlight this year with two releases on Avon Terror Corps (Bristol) and Haunter Records(Milan). The records highlight a wayward mix of hip hop, industrial, post-punk and noise. With the addition of catchy Italian vocals by Franco Franco makes an enigmatic & energetic performance.

Gutter crust trashbeat from Kinlaw and Franco Franco, delivering the first wave of industrial trap and rancid punk rap for Avon Terror Corps. RIYL JPEGMAFIA, AGNARKEA, FUMU…

“‘Blunted church burner Kinlaw and bile spitting nomad Franco Franco savage through ten of their coldest cuts for ATC’s first sacrificial offering.

Panda Lassow (D/NL)

https://soundcloud.com/pandalassow
A known actor in the Rotterdam scene: thanks to her label Anus Recordings, duo Les Cidres and her close connection to The Beatmakers Union & Pantropical. As a producer she explores ghetto sounds and as a vinyl-only DJ she’s known for her diverse taste.

….Elsewhere, you’ll find smart picks such as Group A’s overlooked EBM zinger ‘Ketabali’, a freaky spin on Gqom from Panda Lassow, and Siete Catorce’s brooding swerve in ‘Canto’, taken from his EP for Hypermedium….
